As multi-instrumentalist, singer and member of Equity, Don has undertaken
thousands of engagements performing Jazz, popular and classical
music. He has appeared on stage, radio and television, guested on
shows such as 'Friday Night is Music Night' playing alongside such
greats as Georgie Fame, Bob Monkhouse, Jim Davidson and more. He
also played as guest soloist with the BBC Radio Big Band (Cannes
Jazz Festival). Check out Live

Don left The Central Band of the Royal Air Force in 1998 after 25
years service and as a member of the elite Squadronaires Big Band
to pursue his career as a professional musician. His hugely popular
one-man Mr Soulman show
is now entering its 5th year. Earlier this year Don re-formed his
10-piece band The Wright
Stuff, of which he is Musical Director. He is also an experienced
teacher with over 25 years
experience, teaching all levels from beginners through to professional
musicians.
Don
has recently started his SuperSax
Masterclass in collaboration with the music departments of schools
and universities. He also gives concerts in prisons
around the UK. He is currently studying philosophy and theology
at Manchester University and his hobbies include olympic weight-lifting
and water-skiing.
